Peaches and Cream

It's a peachy peachy day, in other words, it's a nice, happy and cheerful day for me. I am just so happy that I was finally able to do one of the things on my bucket list - and that is to have a mini-shoot outdoors with my photographer slash sister. I was always yearning for photos with really nice quality and background. I guess visiting international blogs with high-res photos made me yearn for that one. I just want my photos to look professional at the very least or I could at least try. Also, I would love to go on short road trips as well. So last Sunday, I finally went ahead with the plan with the help and encouragement of my sister (I almost went lazy daisy again).

I definitely had a blast with the photoshoot! I never thought the final photos will look so good even though we're not close to being pro's. Overall, we were very satisfied with the output and as a bonus we were able to enjoy the awesome scenery and delicious food at Woodland Resort. I guess I'll be doing more of this short trips soon. It's actually a good set-up since we only have the weekends free. 

Choosing Woodland as a venue for the shoot was a no-brainer. I mean, the scenery is perfect and it was very close to home. So right after Church that morning, we went home and packed all the things we need for the shoot. It was very sunny (read: hot and scorching) that day too but it was perfect since we rely on it for dear light. Hahaha! 

My outfit during that day was a very simple one. My sister said it reminded her of Japanese girls outfit for school or when they go out and have casual dates. I think she was right. I got that idea from there. I just got the peach sweater the day before from ROMWE and so I thought I could create a look that's cute.

 I'm going to plan more trips this coming weekends so I can catch up with my blogging lapses. I know I have been a super lazy pants in the previous months that I missed out on a lot of posting opportunities. Oh well. I need to have that zest and inspiration again! Hopefully, I'll be getting my mojo back so I can blog like crazy :) Speaking of crazy, here's a photo showing just that: I tell you, I have my moments too. :D
